RSYC Clarkson Cup - 1st in Class 1 for Fandango The Royal Southampton Yacht Club's Clarkson Cup was held over the weekend of May 25th/26th and competitors were treated to a very strong breeze on both days. Five races were scheduled but the committee elected to only sail three, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. Fandango was using the event as a last warm up prior to the England Commodores Cup Team Trials that begin on June 7th. Flying our new Checkmate Kevlar Smoke Blade No.3 Fandango showed superior upwind speed and went on the win all three races comfortably from the X-362S Djin Seng.
