Warsash Spring Series 2002: Race 5 After a reasonable race considering the activities of the night before (James Crew's Stag Do) we thought we'd achieved another third aboard Fandango. On returning to the Sailing Club, however, we were disappointed to have been scored as OCS along with at least two other 40.7s! Also due to a mix-up with our IRC certificate, which was 1.077 rather than 1.078 for the first two races of the Series, Dave has decided to retire from these races, leaving us having to count an OCS in our Series score. Not the Spring Series we'd been hoping for, but on the positive side the boat is going well, the new sails have proved fast and we are looking forward to the Commodores Cup Trials in June...
