Market grows for Banks in Germany
In
2000 we built up a strong relationship with our new agent in Travemünde
in Germany, Heino Haase Segel.
In addition to yacht sails and our accessory
range, Haase Segel have applied their highly professional approach
to the One Design market in their country.
Germany has strong fleets of many international classes and has its
own national classes, too. Names such as the Schwertzugvogel, Korsar
and Pirat are becoming commonplace at Banks Sails.
We have already seen racing successes in Travemünde
Woche, on Lake Garda and in the Berlin Region, which have proved that
Banks can design and build competitive sails for this market.
With Banks Sails already well known in the big German FD fleet, we
are looking forward to this becoming a growing market for us.
