BMW X-Yachts Gold Cup 2003

The BMX X-Yachts Gold Cup 2003 was held between the 17th and 19th of July on the Solent, with racing organised by the Royal Southern Yacht Club.

Banks Sails customers were racing in many classes and with the first day held in over 30 knots of breeze the loft was busy overnight keeping everyone on the water for the second day!

When the final results were calculated boats powered by our sails achieved the following results:

Family B
4th: Bequia (X-412), Dave Freeman

Racing C
2nd: Blues Xtra (X-302, left), Peter Johnson

Racing D
1st: Glidex* (X-332), Ian Dawson

Racing E

4th: Dark Star (X-412, left), Geoff Chapman
